Kayleigh was gathered with close family and friends that made up the majority of her bridal party (Plus a bridesMAN getting wedding-ready somewhere else in the building!) My favourite part was without a doubt the choice of flowers. The white and purple theme was shown across the venues florals and looked simply beautiful. This bouquet was dreamy!

The Ceremony Room at Ashton Lodge Country House
Ashton Lodge’ ceremony room is light and airy with the most amazing wooden flooring. It features neutral decor with some classic features like these ornate golden mirrors (there were a few!) The room is perfect to decorate to match your colour theme with flowers. These purple and white arrangements created the perfect setting for their vows.
Time to head outside for the drinks reception and luckily, the weather held out just long enough to get through the group photo list I had to hand from Ben and Kayleigh. If you book me for your wedding photography, an ‘important photo’ form is included in your photography welcome pack. I recommend every couple has between 5 – 10, but more are always welcome. Having a relaxed documentary style, I like to make them as easy as possible for all guests. No one likes standing around for hours having their photo taken, so It’s three easy poses and onto the next one.
Speeches, Food and Dancing
The last part of the day ended in the marquee which is another great addition to this venue. It’s the perfect set up for all of your guests to stay from your meal right through to the crazy dance moves in the evening.
