CHLOE AND ADE
Chloe and Ade chose to have their full wedding day at Furtho Manor Farm, a rustic barn, Milton Keynes wedding venue. The celebrations were split between the chapel (St Bartholomews Church) and the awesome wedding barn, both on-site within a minute’s walk of each other. If you are looking for a DIY rustic barn venue surrounded countryside photo backdrops, this is the wedding venue for you!
Chloe and Ade really are madly in love and were surrounded by such a lovely group of friends and family for the entire day, a real pleasure to be a part of. The biggest congratulations to them both for getting married and even writing their own bespoke vows.
I have a complete and utter love for these types of weddings as they are so relaxed – does anything really beat a farm wedding? It is an absolutely awesome place for an outdoor wedding, without having to worry about tipi or marquee hire – just a blank canvas wedding barn ready for you to make your own. Please enjoy a selection of highlight images from their day – I can’t wait to be back at Furtho Manor next year.
How did you meet, who proposed and how?
I was on my yearly camping trip with my friends, Ade was there too, camping and doing wake-boarding. We met at the clubhouse and it went from there. Ade proposed in Rome at the Trevi fountain. (hence the awesome directional signs you will see further down the gallery with Rome included! The wedding stationery was also entirely made by them in the barn!)
Why Furtho Manor Farm for your wedding day?
We chose Furtho Manor Farm because it was a camping, DIY style venue. It’s a blank canvas we could put our own touches on it and it had lovely scenery!
What advice would you give to couples currently researching photographers?
Go with what you like visually!! Price is important too. I would try and get a package with 2 photographers included as I had this on my day and I am so SO glad I did.
Why did you choose Sophie Ann Photography?
Sophie was recommended via a facebook comment I believe. The prices were fab and I loved the look of Sophie’s style of photos!

What advice would you give to other couples planning their wedding day?
Plan well in advance, don’t leave things to the last minute. Take enough time for you both to have time out from wedding planning and work. Enjoy the stress of it and take in your wedding day to the fullest, because it is by far the quickest but most wonderful day of your life.
Describe your wedding in a few final words:
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AND UNFORGETTABLE
[Note: this is my new favourite wedding photo! I absoloutley love it and their first dance was awesome.]
I have just 2 weddings left this season before over a month without a wedding. I’ll still be doing the odd Engagement Session, but this was a super fun wedding to start to end this season. I’ll no doubt be blogging some winter wedding inspiration later on in the year though!
Looking for a Furtho Manor Farm Wedding Photographer? I’m more than happy to chat with you about your plans! I am due back for another wedding at Furtho Manor in 2020 and really can’t wait, amongst plenty of other rustic barn and outdoor wedding style venues across Northamptonshire and The Midlands. I’d love to capture your day too.
