FUN HARLESTONE FIRS ENGAGEMENT SHOOT
I definitely don’t share engagement shoots enough on the blog, but through a summer of no weddings in 2020, I have done nothing but capture awesome couples before their special days. Sometimes I do a post of lots of different shoots (I have one coming soon!) but other times, they deserve a blog post of their own! Jo and Stephen are planning a late Autumn wedding at Furtho Manor Farm, Milton Keynes. Me and Kyle can’t wait to capture their day there as it’s a venue we really love!
It was so much fun meeting the pair of them at Harlestone Firs, Northampton for their pre-wed shoot included in their package. We were due to meet them on Sunday, but looking at the forecast we agreed to bring it forward as it was due to rain. Just as we arrived on that Saturday, however, the heavens opened. When I tell you it rained, I’m serious. IT RAINED! If you needed proof that rain doesn’t = bad photos, this is the post for you!
The most important thing is embracing it. Get your wedding dress muddy and go for that movie scene kiss, because you won’t have any regrets once you have those photos forever. Here are some favourites from the shoot!
If you fancy having us as your wedding photographers or simply want a ‘The Notebook’ vibes couple shoot in the rain, we’d love to photograph you! Just get in touch via our contact form and we’ll get you booked in! If you’re yet to book a wedding photographer for your day, Kyle and I would, of course, love to tick that off your wedding planning list. We’d love to find out about you, chat about your plans, and see how we can help. Get in touch!
