Suzanne got ready in her a m a z i n g conservatory at home. When choosing somewhere to get ready in the morning, natural light should be at the top of your list! Some chain hotels can really let you down when it comes to this, so if you have a home like this one – use it! So many cute little nooks and light coming from every direction – I loved it! The flower girls had flower crowns which I adored and the bouquets were beautiful.
The ceremony took place at All Saints Church, Rushton. The best thing about this venue, without a doubt, was the fields surrounding it. They were the perfect backdrop for group photos which we were able to smash out after the ceremony leaving everyone to just enjoy the day once they were at the reception venue. The lady running the ceremony was totally awesome too, letting me stand literally everywhere in the stunning building to capture their vows.
The reception took place at Market Harborough Golf Club. I do like a golf club wedding because of the amount of greenery which plays a big role in the way I edit my images, that, and the fact we get to head out on the golf buggies! Before I shoot a wedding, I tend to search the venue name followed by ‘wedding photography’ to get a feel for what other Wedding Photographers have captured on other weddings. It’s great for inspiration and allows me to scout some good spots for photos! I have to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to the function hall as there were few photos online, but Suzanne completely transformed it into a Pinterest-worthy room.
The seating plan was set on beautiful pots of flowers and the wedding cake was cupcakes! The sweets were displayed on a tree log structure and there were fairy lights and eucalyptus on every table! My favourite thing without a doubt about this venue is the willow trees though – they were everywhere across the green and was the perfect backdrop for the majority of their couple photos. Just. So. Pretty.

‘Sophie is a fantastic photographer with a great talent for capturing the natural moments. We fell in love with our photos as soon as we saw them. Extremely warm and friendly during the whole process and made it as easy as possible for us throughout’
