Sometimes we know a wedding is going to be a favourite from the moment we arrive in prep – and that’s exactly what happened when we were lucky enough to document Beckie and Joes day at Donington Park Farmhouse this season.
Living in Nottingham, Donington Park is a super local venue to us and one we’d LOVE to visit more often, so if you’re reading this planning your day there – we’re so happy you’re here!
It’s an industrial meets farm style venue in the Derbyshire countryside, with an awesome black barn backdrop, a unique ex-pig stie reception room and accommodation on site in the hotel. It’s a venue that’s different, with an awesome courtyard and great for some direct flash photography in the evening.
A supplier highlight was the incredible décor from Bobbi Wren Events who provided and styled everything from the disco balls to table fabrics. It looked epic and made our photos 100x cooler.
Beckie and Joes day was a perfectly modern wedding – gorgeous details, décor and signage, a celebrant led ceremony, colourful paper confetti, smoke bombs, macaroons, a live illustrator and an epic dancefloor with glow sticks! It really was the dreamiest day.
