If you’re in the Midlands and looking for a cool spot for some couple photos, may I present to you DIGBETH! Backdrops and street art galore, this edgy city spot is our main recommended location if you fancy a more urban feel to your engagement shoot!

Throughout the years we have worked in every kind of venue you can imagine – from barns to walled gardens to tipis on a farm! The same applies to our pre-wedding sessions we do with all of our couples – from forests to river walks to country parks. We just love weddings that are relaxed and full of fun-loving people to capture, whether it’s a festoon lit woodland or a foliage-filled field.

Being two city based togs ourselves though… nothing beats the creativity of a city wedding day!

City weddings push us to be spontaneous and find the magic in any location we find ourselves in! Digbeth itself is known for it’s awesome street art and festoon lights into the evening – a bit of a night-life haven for bars, street food and games.

Digbeth is also home to some amazing alternative venues, from The Old Library through to three of the awesome locations under the ‘Digbeth Events‘ Umbrella… Fazeley Studios, The Bond and Factory Works. FYI: we’d LOVE to shoot a wedding at any of the above and waltz around the streets of Digbeth for some awesome couple photos on the day.

We have our usual full day wedding photo and film package available, but for city weddings… we also offer a bespoke package for shorter coverage to get the awesome city shots before leaving you to enjoy your celebrations together. It usually includes 2 hours coverage to capture your vows at the registry office or city hall, before having a relaxed walk around the city together snapping away for some fun shots.

If you’ve booked us for your wedding day anyway, you’ll also have engagement photos with us in either of our wedding photography packages. It’s the perfect way to meet up before the day, get to know one another and snap some epic photos. Although we can suggest lots of nature-based locations, if you fancy meeting us in Digbeth for a Birmingham engagement shoot (or another city location such as Kelham Island in Sheffield) then we’d love to be there.
